Ricky Lee taught us that Quiapo is not a solo destination. There is no single route to Quiapo, in as much as there are myriads of Quiapos to discover. This acknowledgement of our creative diversity enriches our writing experience.

Here, there is no imposed template, platform, or style. We learn the conventions, so we can understand how to break them. We don’t claim to have all the pertinent answers, but we can help each other ask all the important questions.

Writing is not taught-- It is life that does it for us. And in life, it helps to bring along travel companions. In our continuous search for the ultimate creative expression, we undertake the same journey, in a plethora of different ways.
